Being a part of Groove's competitive team means you are a dancer that is looking for an extra challenge and has a true passion for dance!  Taking on competitive classes is a rewarding and fun experience for any dancer.  We explore different styles and work on team building skills.  
Each dancer must audition to be on the team.  Auditions are held right before the dance season starts in September.  Once you have auditioned you will be placed in the team that is most suitable for your age and level of ability.  Once on the team you must participate in your competitive choreography class as well as two other technique classes.  Groove enrolls in two competitions per year.  These usually happen in the Spring months.  One competition is always away and one is local.  Here at Groove we strive to always do our personal best, have fun and be respectful and supportive teammates.
